What is IMChain?

Intelligent Manufacturing Chain (IMChain) is a honeycomb-shaped platform formed by deep integration of blockchain technology and intelligent manufacturing technology, by creating a parent blockchain+multi-sidechain of pluggable consensus algorithms, and by building a global and open eco-system in the manufacturing industry. It is committed to implement DApp ecological applications such as customization and industrial crowd-funding DApp through the M2D (Manufacturing to Demand) business model.

The origin

In the midst of Accompanied by German Industry 4.0, Made in China 2025, US Advanced Manufacturing Country Strategic Plan, industrial Internet has been promoted worldwide. The development of digital, network, and intelligent manufacturing has been irreversible. Faced with the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industries, SME financing difficulties, information asymmetry between the supply and demand sides, the market can not meet the needs of personalized needs are increasingly prominent. With the release of Bitcoin in 2009, the blockchain has been known to the public. The blockchain reduces the threshold of value transfer, realizes the large-scale collaboration efficiency with smart contracts and value sharing, and finds a way to solve the pain points in the manufacturing industry.

However, the existing public blockchain also has many problems: little or no consideration for commercial app scenarios, which results in block generation of the blockchain network; most of apps are distributed in parent blockchains, which results in demands of application consensus mechanism for consensus algorithm of parent blockchains, the application scenario is very simple; complete decentralization leads to regulatory difficulties. In the relatively strict market environment, there is no way to survive. Based on this understanding, we believe that adopting the parent blockchain + multi-sidechain and consensus mechanism that can be plugged in can solve these problems and break through the predicament that the parent blockchain is not for application but for Token.
